The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)

Member Rachelle Moore testifies before Congress

ESEA agreement final vote by this Tuesday

After almost 14 years of students living under No Child Left Behind, Congress is within sight of ending that broken era of public education. On Wednesday December 2, 2015, the House passed S. 1177, the Every Student Succeeds Act. Now it moves to the Senate for a final vote.

The bill, S. 1177, is a bipartisan agreement between the House and Senate that will be a big improvement over current law, and we need your help to make sure it passes in the Senate.
